Sarah McNeill and Cheryl Nakamoto co-founded McNeill Nakamoto Recruitment Group (McNak) in 1996 with the mission to connect exceptional people with outstanding employers creating environments where people buzz. McNeill Nakamoto was the 2009 recipient of the Big Sisters Big Heart Award for Outstanding Contribution by a Company. McNak is recognized on the 2009 Progressive Employers of Canada List. McNak has been a part of the Entrepreneurs Organization (EO) since 1999.
Cheryl is Chief, People Progress Potential (C3PO) and oversees all operations, manages and leads the senior team and works on client development and strategy. Sarah is Chief Acceleration Officer and oversees strategy, marketing and the overall McNak experience. Sarah is the innovator and initiator of new business initiatives, social media and community building for McNak.

Cheryl is a UBC graduate, B. Comm. with the professional designation of a Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP) and holds the designation of Certified Personnel Consultant (CPC) from the Association of Canadian Search, Employment and Staffing Services (ACSESS). Cheryl is a director for the Dress for Success Organization (DFS). Cheryl spearheaded the inception of the Vancouver Career Centre for DFS. Cheryl is a member of the Junior Achievement BC Alumni Advisory board.

Sarah is a UBC graduate. BA with a minor in Marketing. Twice recognized as a finalist for the YWCA Women of Distinction for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (2007) and for Community Building (2008) and was most recently a Judge for the YWCA Women of Distinction 2009. Sarah is a 2007 recipient of Business in Vancouver’s Top Forty under 40. Sarah is a Board Director for the Vancouver Opera and an Honorary Board Member for Big Sisters BC Lower Mainland. Sarah has chaired numerous events for both of these organizations.
